I’ve only just started work on this directory - there are about 325 entries so far.  There are people I know to be teachers who aren’t listed as such.  Only the head of the household is listed, so children / spouses / lodgers who are teachers are not.  This means there are lots more men represented in Directory lists than in Census lists.

There are some odd things - for example, there are 2 entries for  Thomas Hodges JACKSON. However, a quick look at the birth records shows there was one baby of this name born in Yorkshire in 1888 and another born in Liverpool in 1890. So they are probably different people, but these are the only recorded births with this combination of names!
